I have a small compressor (6 CFM @ 90 psi) and this was bought to stop buying spray cans. It works surpurb, the stains/dyes are more consistant then I ever got hand rubbing or brushing. And this applies the Poly Urathane finsh way better then i ever got from a can. I use less product and have full control. Worth every penny.

Draw back, the documentation is less then useful unless you are already knowlegeable about how to set these up. But a bit of trial and error will help.

Hidden Hitch 87002 Class III Hitch Review

This hitch fits like it was made by Jeep, and the kit was complete and the instructions easy to follow. There were a couple of minor difficulties that I'll report: The instructions say no holes need be drilled on '97 and later Wranglers, but the '99 Wrangler does need the holes drilled. More problematic for some may be that I had to take a Dremel grinder to the slots in the bottoms of the frame rails to enlarge them to get the bolts in.

That said, I gave 5 stars because of its tremendous quality.

Well engineered, needed assembly but it was not bad, 20 min or so to set up for the bike. Enough adjustment to take either my street bike or the dual sport. Used this item for a large bike, inside a trailer that went over road, then via ship, road again and arrived in fine condition. Much better item than the Harbor Freight branded product.

Kuryakyn 4141 Black GranTour Bag Review

This bag delivers on all accounts. Attaching to the bike is simple and secure- and there are several easy option. The bag is intelligently divided, with different sized pockets so keeping gloves, an extra visor, and all sorts of other items separated.

The construction is solid. Nothing on the bag feels cheap or compromised. The main zipper even has an elastic strap to hold it so it doesn't make noise while riding. I was able to fit the under-the-seat anchor piece on without having to remove the rubber pads under the seat. Although the first time it didn't work, I slid the leather anchor a little further back on the fender and the seat was then able to latch.

I have seen some people (on other sites' reviews) say that the bag is too small to use as a backrest. Obviously this depends on your motorcycle. I am 5'6" and have a vulcan 900 classic. Putting the bag against my sissy bar makes using the backrest easy (and I don't even have highway pegs, so I don't lean back when I ride). I would highly recommend this bag and would make the same choice again.

Budge B-600-X6 Sportsman 600 Series Boat Cover for 20' to 22' 104" Beam Boat Review

I've been using those cheap denier 300 covers and only getting a season or two out of them in the outdoor, southern summers. The texture of this cover is more cloth-like, yet is durable. As long as I can keep rain from pooling on it, I should be able to get three seasons out of it. Three seasons for a cover less than $100, kept outside in the south, is a bargain.
I have a bowrider and the fit is very nice for a non-custom made cover. I use bungee cords to hold it down, not the supplied buckles and nylon straps.
The marine blue color looks great too. Highly recommended.

Power Stop K2299 Front Ceramic Brake Pad and Cross Drilled/Slotted Combo Rotor One-Click Brake Kit Review

I got these for my Honda Odyssey. The rotors have a silver paint-like coating on all surfaces. Looks OK, but it seems like an insulation layer that shouldn't be there.

The rotors' braking surfaces are significantly textured by cheap machining. They should be smoother. The pads are rough, and came in their plastic wrap with oil/grease smears on the contact sides. I cleaned them with brake cleaner before installing them, but gee whiz, grease on the braking surfaces of the pads? That's bad. With those rough surfaces, the first few mm of pads & rotors will wear and "seat" quickly, which I understand can be the plan. Still, there are limits on how rough they should be to start out.

The clips are different from Honda parts, and needed to be shaved on one edge for the pads to fit in. I used sheet metal shears to take a couple of mm off one edge of each. Not only that, but the clips have an extended curl/spring that grips the pads more securely once they're in place, perhaps so the pads are less likely to fall out as you put the caliper back around the rotor, but the curl/spring adds yet another factor of hassle to installing the pads. Next time I'll just cut the curl/spring off.

The steel backing material of each pad is slightly "longer" (on the pads' longest axis) than Honda pads, by about 1 or 2 mm, which adds to the installation challenge.

I've purchased $100 pads and $150 rotors in the past, as well as $20 pads and $25 rotors for various cars. These PowerStop pads & rotors are the lowest quality I've ever seen, independent of price. I was tricked by the advertising hype, and the convenience of getting them all in a set. They're cheap junk made in China, marketed like high-end "performance" parts. Oh, I know a lot of high-quality parts come out of China. This ain't it.

Update -- now that I've driven a few thousand miles with them, the rotors smoothed off like normal rotors, and the pads have set without a problem. So they'll do, but I'll never buy anything of this brand again.
