Toyota Sienna Replacement Fog Light Assembly - 1-Pair Review

I ordered a set of these from AutoHalo for my '08 Toyota Sienna. At $144/pair they are very price competitive with the OEM lamps from Toyota, which are around $150 each. I only awarded 4 stars because of some headaches I had with the ordering process, and not with the quality of the item.

Long story short, I've come to learn that much of the aftermarket crash replacement lighting is made by either TYC or Depo. These replacement brand parts are very similar to the OEM (NAL ??) units, but not identical. Nor are they identical to each other. So imagine my surprise when AutoHalo shipped me two different brand parts: Left lamp = Depo, Right lamp = TYC. I filed a complaint and AutoHalo asked which one I preferred, and to return the one I didn't want. After examining features on both, I picked TYC. I didn't know at the time that TYC was the more expensive of the two. After shipping one back, the seller sent me a note that I needed to kick in an extra $6 as I picked the higher priced supplier! I escalated, and they reversed the up-charge.

The TYC units look and fit great. Overall, I'm very pleased. AutoHalo was OK to deal with, but I think they could use some work in their order fulfillment and customer service departments.
