My CD changer went belly up on me a couple of weeks ago, so I was looking for an audio alternative to the radio. We have multi-path reception problems where I live in the San Francisco Bay area, so sound quality is miserable. I have an 2005 Acura RL, with an integrated navigation/audio/climate/XM center unit, so swapping out the stereo/CD player was not an attractive prospect. SO, after scouring the many Acura blogs, I settled on the USA Spec PA15-ACU xl. The unit arrived about three days after I ordered it via UPS, from Audio Connections. I just plugged the unit into the XM Radio box in my trunk. Piece of cake. Plugged in my iPod, and Voila! Works just as promised and sounds GREAT! Now I have complete access to my digital musical library. No more burning CDs! I plan on keeping the plug for the iPod in the trunk, as I have no desire to try and rip up the carpet in my car's interior and run cable to my center console. BTW, it also charges the iPod, so no worries there.
