I installed this unit on a 2001 A6 sedan. Overall, it is a nice looking headlight assembly. It comes with light bulbs installed, although I swapped out bulbs with the old headligh unit. The curve of the front may be a little different from the original, but it looks fine installed on the car. I was able to install without removing the bumper (the Audi manual says you need to do this), see Audiworld forums for installation help. Only downside was the back cover that came with the unit was a little larger and I couldn't get the wire clips to close. I chose to re-install the old back-cover.
