I put these tires ( Eagle LS2 205 70 16 ) because I wanted a little taller and narrower tire, because I was thinking it would have less rolling resistance. They really do have less resistance, partly due to the fact that they have 44 PSI instead of 35 PSI of other tires. I haven't been able to check if my MPG's are improved. Acceleration is a little diminished because of the larger circumference. These are very quiet on the road. I would spin my 215 65 16 Michelins easily. These tires are much grippier.
I now see why the Police use Goodyear Eagle tires most of the time.
