I purchased this light bar to mount antennas rather than use magnetic mounts. The thing that appealed to me was the roll-over feathure so I could lower the antennas for parking garages and similar low clearance situations without having to remove the antennas. To roll the bar over, you need to loosen the bar from it's mounts with an allen wrench - this is actually a bit annoying especially if you find yourself in an area of low clearance unexpectedly. The general idea is a good one, but I think the engineering of that roll over feature needs to be more quick-release friendly. I will also mention this is the only light bar I found that had this roll-over feature. My other critique is that not all the hardware that comes with the bar appears to be stainless steel (some it some isn't). I invested some extra $ and swapped out all the hardware I could for SS, and primed/spray-painted what hardware I couldn't replace. So far, no rust. This light bar can be installed by one person - I did it - but two people is better. You will likely have to cut the bar to fit your vehicle exactly. This is not a complicated affair so long as you have good tools and take the measuring slow and sure before cutting. Been in use 2 years now and no complaints - has never come loose on it's own, though I do check it from time to time to make sure it's still secure. Also note that I did use the gutterless mount kit which comes separately.
