The Infinity Reference 475a is a 4-Channel Full Range Amplifier capable of driving 2 sets of speakers. It has a built in 12db variable electronic crossover as well as a variable bass boost of 0 to 6db at 50Hz. The amplifier can drive four channels at 2 ohms with 90 Watts RMS. It can also be configured to drive two channels at 4 ohms with 180 Watts of power. The amplifier has a very attractive low profile. This amplifier comes with a one year parts and labor warranty. I bought this amp to fit under the driver's seat of my 2000 CR-V. I had to cut the carpet and padding out from under the seat to clear the seat adjustment mechanisms, but it fits great and the glowing blue rails look pretty cool at night.

I've got this hooked up to an Alpine head unit via preamp-outs and driving two pair of Infinity 6020 6.5" Component speakers. I cannot describe the difference in sound from the old Infinity shallow-mount coax speakers powered by the head unit. The bass is so deep and powerful with no clipping or bottom-out. The highs are crystal clear and not overpowering. It's hard to tell how much was due to the new amp or the new speakers (since I made both changes at the same time) but I now find myself looking for excuses to drive my car just so I can listen to music. The amp has plenty of features (both low and high pass x-overs and 4x, 3x, and 2x bridging for a variety of sub/sat setups. It is pretty large, but quite attractive, and the sheer amount of clean power is incredible. Highly recommended for loud clean sound; I have not tried this with big subs.
