I am VERY happy with this purchase. It is an OEM replacement product that was cheaper here than the Airtex fuel pump at autozone.

When ever I turned my 2000 Chevy Impala on the needle would at first display correctly but as soon as I applied the gas the needle would float between half a tank or peg full. I had no idea how much fuel was ever in the tank. I was suspecting it was the sending unit attached to the fuel pump. When I received this Delphi Module you could tell there was good contact wipe against the resistors that send voltage to the meter in the dash. When I removed the old fuel pump, sure enough the sending unit was shot. There was no contact wipe at all. The contacts just moved freely never touching the resistors.

The instructions that came with this pump worried me at first because it stated that I would have to cut out my old chassis connector from under the car and splice the included connector in its place. Thankfully, when I removed the old plugs from the old pump everything matched up perfectly.

My car now displays the correct fuel on the gauge and on the display in the ceiling console.
