This cover is, as advertised, waterproof and light-proof. It's easy to put on and take off, and fits the car EXACTLY. It seems a little thinner then I was expecting, for their claims of ding resistance, but it seems to do a good job of protecting the car from falling twigs/small branches from the tree in my yard. We've not yet had any hail this year, so I can't speak to it's effectiveness there.
