I bought this hitch for my 2010 Ford Focus 2-door SES, not knowing anything about it (other than it is made in the USA). It was a much cheaper alternative than a bike rack on the roof.

I was amazed at the quality of it. It is made of heavy steel with a thick, rubbery coating. The instructions were simple to follow and the overall installation took only about a half-hour. The hardest part of installation on the Focus is getting your muffler out of the rubber hanger.

The metal fishing wire they include is genius. You need to drop a carriage bolt and bracket through the frame tube, which would be nearly impossible otherwise. With the fishing wire, you simply push one end through the hole until it comes out the back, thread the bolt onto the end of it, and pull. Done!

If I ever need a hitch in the future, I will definitely buy from Curt again.
