Doesn't work for me. It's convenient, as there is now wiring. Just stick camera on your tailgate and plug monitor into dash 12V recepticle. I am using it on a 2013 Silverado, and can not get a clear view. Constant static, "wiggley" picture with an occasional decent view that lasts for a few seconds on and off at the most. Tried a new battery, same results. Apparently, the reciever picks up signals from cellphones, bluetooth, wifi, GPS, garage door openers, etc. etc. Newer vehicles that support bluetooth, Onstar, GPS navigation, etc. are equipped with a VCIM, (vehicle communication interface device), whitch emits constant signals that interfere with the camera signal. I tried it in several different areas but the result is the same. It worked much better on by buddies old Ford Ranger pickup that does not have any electronic features. I am contemplating returning it, and putting in a hardwire system, but may not, since I only plan on using it to line up the hitch on my travel trailer no more that once a month, and can still accomplish that with the crappy view. If you have a newer vehicle equipped with a VCIM, I do not recommend this.
