So far, I've changed out four 15 inch trailer tires (6 ply rated) and two 12 inch compact tractor tires (4 ply rated). There's a roll pin on the crank handle that tightens the clamps (3 places) up to hold the rim while you remove the tire from same. It sheared while working on tire number three. So, I replaced that and it hasn't sheared since. However, the acme tooth treaded bar on which the tightening clamp travels is starting to bow. I expect it to fail next. Bottom line is it works pretty good, but i'm not sure how my tires i'll get to replace it on before it breaks and i can't repair it. Also, you'll need more tools than provided. I've been using a flat nail puller tool to assist in getting the tires on and off.
