Dobeck Performance TFI Electronic Jet Kit (Tap-In) FI-1025 Review

I have a 2002 Vulcan 1500FI. This was the best money I spent on this bike. Install was easy and instructions were right on. I did not want to remove the tank as required in the newer plug and play version. I initially set the unit to the suggested dial readings. After a few test rides I found these settings to be way off of prime for my bike. Yours may be different. My MPG even went up a bit and preformance improvement was noticeable. Get one!

It arrived when promised, and probably arrived w/ all parts ... but I can't tell for sure. There were no instructions on how to install it in the box. Was surprised. Am hoping an old farmer friend can help me figure out how to install it. Maybe it appears to be forthright to some folks who've dealt w/ such things all their lives, but it's a new project for me. Didn't find any instructions online re: how to install it either ... again ... surprised if it's not one place that they wouldn't have it at the other.

Worked fine for the past six months. Now the monitor opens and closes at will; this is becoming very annoying. Contacted seller to ask about a warranty, no response has been forthcoming. I even offered to pay part of the cost for a new monitor, but they did not even bother replying to that message. Buy something that is backed by a real company with real customer service. This is made by some ghost company you cannot even contact.

I have bought four of these Rough Riders for myself, my daughter, my granddaughter, and a family friend.

Not one of us is a mechanic. I am an 88 year old retired GI. my daughter is 60 years old and retired, my granddaughter is a 40 year old commercial artist, and the family friend is a 70 year old widow.

We all use it for routine work around our homes. It allows us to get down low, work in comfort, and get back to a standing position without strain.

The most remarkable thing about this stool is that you can tuck your feet in close to your center of gravity, place your hands on the rim of the saddle, push off, and rise to a standing
