Hidden Hitch Class III Hitch has a low profile design to compliment the contours and aerodynamic styling of today's vehicles. Class III hitches are weight carrying (WC) and also are weight distributing (WD) hitches depending on the vehicle and hitch specifications. Not all Class III hitches are rated to be both. The hitch specifications will alert you to a hitch that is not weight distributing. This is a no drill application and reduces cutting of bumper and drilling. Hidden Hitches meet or exceed V5, VS, CSA and SAE J684 standards and are inspected for quality and workmanship. All hitches have a rust resistant black powder coating that provides an outstanding rust resistant appearance for years. Class III hitches attach to the vehicle frame only. Custom designed hitches are specific to vehicle type and model year for simple installation and superior fit. Includes removable drawbars and ballmounts (sold separately) eliminate banged or bruised shins and enhance the appearance when not in use.

This hitch fits like it was made by Jeep, and the kit was complete and the instructions easy to follow. There were a couple of minor difficulties that I'll report: The instructions say no holes need be drilled on '97 and later Wranglers, but the '99 Wrangler does need the holes drilled. More problematic for some may be that I had to take a Dremel grinder to the slots in the bottoms of the frame rails to enlarge them to get the bolts in.

That said, I gave 5 stars because of its tremendous quality.
